TECHNOLOGY USED: REACT.JS, VUE.JS, NODE.JS, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT

OBJECTIVE

The owner of the Craft Arter Florist asked us to develop an e-commerce website where not only their customers can browse the bouquet collections, but also buy them directly via the website. So far, the owner has been using Instagram and marketplaces to sell her products. With their own e-commerce website, the owner wishes to have more control in the marketing and promotion strategy, and additionally, cut some operational costs.

APPROACH

In building an e-commerce website for a florist, we especially consider the aesthetics and interface of the website. We start from designing the user interface in Figma and take into account the harmony of the color pallete and the logo of Craft Arter.

The system consists of two parts: the front-end for customers and for the shop owner. We developed the front-end sides using modern technology, such as React and Vue.js. To make sure that the system can be scaled well, we develop it using microservice architecture. The backend is developed using Node.js.

Some features of the website are a dashboard for the owner to monitor the store performances, voucher codes for promotions, shopping cart, payment confirmation, and feature products.

IMPACT

By using their own e-commerce platform, the Craft Arter florist can customize their online store with personal styles and characters. They can also launch their own marketing and promotional campaigns. Also, the store performances and customer orders can be managed more efficiently.
